Video game designer/Artist/Animator/Character designer/PC builder/Solderer

I go under my online alias Hyperlight-iPod, but you may call me iPod if you like.

About Me

ሰላም. I'm Hyperlight-iPod, but you can simply call me iPod.As my occupations say, I sort of describe myself as a small-time polymath, as I am an artist, animator, game designer, technologist, character designer, and solder. While it's true that us humans, including me, must respect each other, I mostly show generosity to friends who hold deep respect with me.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Q: Who are you and what do you do?
A: My name is iPod. I design video games, draw pictures, and animate, all on my computer. Oh, and I also build desktop computers.
2. Q: How long have you been into drawing?
A: I can't remember, but it's best I'd assume it's around the mid-2000s.
3. Q: How do you describe your art style and design?
A: Personally, it's mostly anime-like along with optional cartoonish proportions.
It may seem like I mostly draw in a simplistic style when I have spare time, but I get serious when I start drawing human characters in this realistic anatomy.4. Q: Do you take art commissions? If so, how can I request a commission from you?
A: Yes, I do take art commissions. Primarily, you are required to own a DeviantArt account to message me, although I am starting to open up on BlueSky.
5. Q: What is your commission process?
A: You'll describe how exactly you want your commission to be, and I'll calculate the fees for your commission, and I'll notify you of the final price. Afterwards, the whole process of drawing your commission can unpredictably take around days to weeks.
6. Q: Can I request changes to my completed artwork?
A: Only for very small exceptions, like if it's a minor fix, but most of the time, unfortunately, no, you cannot request changes to your commissioned artwork. Sorry.
7. Q: How will I receive the final artwork?
A: I will submit the final artwork on my DeviantArt page.
8. Q: Do you offer shipping for physical artwork?
A: No.
9. Q: Can I use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes?
A: Yes, if you give credit to me first. For those who don't know, "credit", as a verb, defines "publicly acknowledging someone as a participant in the production of (something published or broadcast)."
However, never use my original IPs. As I've created them myself for original content, they are not for sale, even if you intend to give credit to me.10. Q: Do you take requests or art trades?
A: I don't take requests anymore, but I've always been open for art trades, though you are required to have fine skills in art.
11. Q: What's your cultural background?
A: Even though I was born in the United States and have always been American, I'm actually of Eritrean ancestry, making me Eritrean American.
